PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance working efficiency when performing maintenance of a filter in an air conditioner equipped with a plurality of lifting type suction grilles. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a casing 10 and a ceiling panel 20 provided at the lower face of the casing 10, wherein the suction grilles 22 are mounted to the ceiling panel 20. The ceiling panel 20 is provided with the plurality of lifting type suction grilles 22; drive mechanisms 30 for lifting the respective suction grilles 22; a plurality of electrical equipment boxes electrically connected to the drive mechanisms 30 of the respective suction grilles 22; one remote control signal receiving part 41 provided at the lower face of the ceiling panel 20 to receive remote operation signals of a remote controller; and an electric wiring part for connecting the remote control signal receiving part 41 to the respective electrical equipment boxes.
