PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain digital amplitude sequence within a constant time period from an analog signal without gridding using digital ATE. SOLUTION: The analog signal is sampled. A standard signal for synchronizing to the sampling is generated. A result of the sampling is compared with the standard signal. A time period is obtained from a time point of the sampling until a time point that the result of the comparison satisfies a predetermined condition.
