<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system for raising visual recognition and operability in the display state of a magnified display image when the arbitrary area of an animation is magnified and displayed while reproducing the animation, and to provide an image display method. <P>SOLUTION: The camera system transfers a reproduction streaming signal which is outputted from a recording medium and is in a compression state to a map which is regulated in a memory. The transferred reproduction streaming signal is decoded by a decoder, subsequently converted into a YUV signal by an image processing part, and transferred to the map as the YUV signal. The image magnified or reduced by the image processing part is generated based on the YUV signal so as to be stored in the map to which a magnified or reduced image which is prepared on the map is superimposed on the image in response to a (magnification) reproduction request. An output position is obtained so as to output the superimposed image. When an input is not indicated during a prescribed time, the transmittance of the reduced image is gradually increased and erased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
