PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer carrier which has not problems of a density decrease, image density unevenness, a sleeve ghost, fogging, etc., even under different environmental conditions and with which a uniform image of high quality having no density unevenness and having high image density can be obtained. SOLUTION: The developer carrier carrying a developer for visualizing an electrostatic latent image carried by an electrostatic latent image carrier has at least a base body and a resin coating layer formed on the surface of the base body, and the resin coating layer contains at least an organic molybdenum compound.
