PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of generating, using a simple configuration, clocks for A/D conversion and data outputting. SOLUTION: A clock control part 200 sets an A/D conversion clock CKADC used at a column ADC26 of a column processing part 25 and a data output clock CKout, used at a data outputting part 28 which outputs the digital data outside converted at the column ADC26 at the same frequency. If the data of N bit is outputted in serial data with horizontal signal lines 282 of P units, with the number of columns of a pixel part being C and the number of horizontal blanks being B, the total output clock number becomes "(C+B)*N/P". The clock can be unified, by setting the number of clocks required for A/D conversion to be D (=2^M;M is bit number) and the frequency expansion clock number for filling a difference between both clock numbers to be E, and (D+E)=(C+B)*N/P.
