PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocker cover structure having improved function as a tool and a component box, capable of being stably laid on a ground or on a machine without impairing the function during mounting an engine and requiring specially additional machining while avoiding the turndown during inspection and maintenance of the engine. SOLUTION: The rocker cover structure is mounted on the upper face of a cylinder head for covering a mounting member on the cylinder head including a valve gear. A rocker cover has a plurality of turndown preventing protrusions formed on the upper face. When the rocker cover is laid on an installation surface in a reversed condition, the plurality of turndown preventing protrusions have contact with the installation surface to prevent the turndown of the rocker cover.
