PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grip type saw for high branch, with which when a high thick branch is pruned and cut by the saw for high branch, the branch is prevented from being unstably shaken and removed, the cut branch is held and recovered without falling on the ground. SOLUTION: The grip type saw for high branch is a pole handle-like saw of high branch of double pipe structure comprising a hook operation shaft center for gripping a tree branch in which the inside pipe serves as a hook support pole 19 for gripping a branch and controlling its shape, the outside pipe has a sawing slide pole 14 arbitrarily sliding on the outer peripheral surface of the inside pipe, fixes a saw blade body 13 and a sawing grip 15 at both ends, transmits a slide sawing action and a torque force applied to a sawing grip to a saw blade body, cuts the branch in a gripped state and simultaneously cuts, holds and recovers the branch by a hook 11 without dropping the branch.
