The present invention discloses a method of transferring media content between a user terminal and a remote device, both mobile terminals being capable of multi-media data transfer. The transfer takes place between the terminals unless the user terminal is authorised to communicate with the remote device. This authorization and other administration functions such as managing and updating the list of authorised users etc. is remotely controlled by the owner of the remote device with the help of a master PIN.
