A remote controlled PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication System) and a method thereof are provided to offer a telemedicine service by converting a protocol and performing communication with the converted protocol even if medical or network equipment, and an OS(Operating System) used in other hospitals are different with each other. A web server(31) transceives medical treatment information and opinion among the hospitals. A PACS server(32) stores and converts an image file of the medical treatment information. A database(33) stores a text file of the medical treatment information. A video conference server(36) connects a video conference to make the hospitals exchange the opinions for a patient among the hospitals. The PACS server converts the image file into a DICOM 3(Digital Image and COmmunication in Medicine 3) file. |
