发明名称 Vorrichtung zum Zufuehren von Gegenstaenden, z. B. Karamellen, insbesondere in eine Verpackungsmaschine
摘要 856,814. Hoppers; rotary conveyers. SERAGNOLI, A., and SERAGNOLI, E., [trading as SOC. G.D. IN ACCOMANDITA SEMPLICE]. April 5, 1957 [April 12, 1956; March 23, 1957], No. 11237/57. Class 78 (1). [Also in Group XVII] Caramels which have been fed into holes 24 in a conveying disc 21 are moved by the disc past a series of stations at which various operations such as the removal of undersized caramels, the trimming or crushing of oversize articles and the filling of empty holes in the disc are carried out before the caramels reach a final station V where they are removed from the disc and wrapped. A stationary surface 26 is disposed below the disc to retain the caramels in the holes. The disc 21 is driven intermittently so that the caramels come to rest in each station. In one embodiment, Fig. 2, the disc 21 is supplied with caramels by a hopper formed by walls 50 and 51, the disc rotating in the direction of arrows 23 to remove caramels entering the holes from beneath a separator 52 (station I). Adjacent station II a stationary scraper knife 31 is located which trims off any oversize portions of the caramels. At station III the surface 26 below the disc is discontinued such that only two shoulders 27, 28 of the surface 26 remain to support the article. While a hole is moving towards or away from station III a cam-operated tongue 29 is positioned in the space between the shoulders 27, 28, this being temporarily removed by the cam operation during the period of rest of a caramel in the station so that if the caramel is undersized it falls out. A stationary plate (not shown) is located above the hole at station III to prevent tilting of articles which are not excessively undersized. A further station III may be included in which the shoulders 27, 28 are in the positions 36, 37. At station IV an auxiliary supply hopper 32 filled with caramels of correct shape and size is positioned from which a caramel drops to enter any empty hole arriving at this station. At station V a vertically reciprocating plunger engages the caramels from below and raises them, together with a piece of wrapping paper fed by suitable means to a wrapping-device (not shown). In a modification, Fig. 4, the disc 21 does not pass beneath the main feed-hopper 54 which is bounded by the walls 44 and 45 but is fed with caramels by two feed-discs 39, 39<SP>1</SP> provided with holes 43 and driven in synchronism with the disc 21 and located mainly within the hopper, vertically reciprocating plungers (not shown) raising the caramels from the holes 43 to the holes 24 when the discs are at rest. In a further embodiment, Fig. 6, the station III for rejecting undersized caramels fed from hopper 50 by disc 21 consists of a reciprocating tongue 47 disposed in a gap in the surface 26 and provided with a hole 48 of slightly smaller size than the holes 24, the tongue being reciprocated to place the hole 48 below each hole 24 as it rests in the station.
