<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage converter which reduces an abnormal current generated when power supply is put to work. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 30 outputs operation directive signals PWU, PWD which direct an operation mode to switch an IGBT device Q1 and an IGBT device Q2 to a voltage converter 20, and outputs a gate cut-off signal CSDN which inhibits conduction of the IGBT device Q1 and the IGBT device Q2 in spite of the operation directive signals PWU, PWD. The control unit 30 judges whether the gate cut-off signal CSDN is normally transmitted to the voltage converter 20 or not, at a precharge operation before causing the voltage converter 20 to rise a voltage or fall the voltage, then when the gate cut-off signal CSDN is not normally transmitted, the control unit controls the voltage converter 20 so that the IGBT device Q1 may be in a conductive state and the IGBT device Q2 may be in a non-conductive state, by which overheating and deposition of a relay are avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
