PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle for track maintenance which is favorable for safety confirmation in the traveling direction during reversing by propulsion of a power car by providing an occupant boarding room for reversing confirmation at a vehicle rear end and unloading materials for maintenance and inspection from the rear end without breaking a formation. SOLUTION: With a passage 6 which permits movement of a load "a" placed on a load deck 2 left at a rear end of the load deck, a support leg 4 is relatively made upright to receive the occupant boarding room 3 for traveling confirmation on the support leg 4.
