An apparatus for adjusting angle of a bed is provided to allow a patient hospitalized in hospital to easily adjust the angle of a backboard seat of the bed for the hospital so as to take a rest more conveniently. The apparatus for adjusting the angle of the bed comprises: a driving motor(70), fixed and mounted to a bed frame(11); a ball nut unit(40), which is fixed to the bed frame(11) in such a manner that it is idled in a position distanced by a determined interval from the inside end of a shaft(35) so that it is supplied with a driving force of the driving motor(70) by a timing belt so as to transfer a straight motion force to the shaft(35), and which has a ball nut in an inner circumference of which balls are arranged; a ball screw(50), an end of which is extended from the shaft(35), and an outer circumference of which is assembled to an inner circumference of the ball nut so that the ball screw is axially moved; and an operating controller(60).
