<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper condition detection device for a paper conveyance device capable of securely stopping operation of the device if there is a possibility that a paper sheet stored in a paper feeding part or a paper sheet during conveyance may cause jamming even when conveying many kinds of paper sheets and printing on their rear surfaces and informing a user of the possibility in advance to prevent occurrence of trouble of the device. <P>SOLUTION: In this paper conveyance device for feeding a paper sheet in a paper feeding cassette 23 toward an image forming part 10 and delivering the paper sheet after its processing into a paper delivery cassette 22, this paper condition detection device is provided with a paper condition detection part 80 for detecting a storage condition of the paper sheet in the paper feeding cassette 23 or a conveyance condition of a paper sheet on conveyance paths 16, 17 from the paper feeding cassette 23 to the paper delivery cassette 22 and a paper condition determining part 82 for determining whether a paper sheet is in a specific paper condition that may cause abnormal conveyance of the paper sheet based on the results of detection of the paper condition detection part 80 or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
