PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk player capable of normally playing back even an optical disk having a difference between the boost amount of an equalizer having a best jitter value and a boost amount having a best error rate, or an optical disk having a best boost amount changed even in the middle of playing back. SOLUTION: When an equalizer adjust mode is set during playing back, an equalizer adjust screen 242 showing the graph La of jitter values and the graph Lb of error rates is displayed by a display device 24. Then, when the up or down key of a remote controller is operated, the boost amount of the equalizer is increased/decreased. Accordingly, the graphs La and Lb shown in the equalizer adjust screen 242 are changed, and jitter values indicated by the graphs La and Lb, and/or a boot amount during error rate adjustment is set in the equalizer.
