PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record data and preserve the recorded data on a predetermined medium with improved reliability. SOLUTION: An HDD recording controller 43 makes an HDD 12 record the recording data by correlating it with identification information permitting identification of a DVD-31-1. A DVD recording controller 44 makes the DVD 31-1 record those recording data. When an abnormality occurs in the DVD31-1, the DVD recording controller 44 identifies and reads the recording data correlated with the identification information of the DVD 31-1 from the HDD12 and then makes a new DVD31-2 record the data.
