PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal continuously variable transmission enabling a reduction in the cost of its entire structure swingably supporting a yoke by reducing the working cost of the yoke and a post. SOLUTION: In this toroidal continuously variable transmission, a roughly cylindrical engagement member 50 in which at least a part of the outer peripheral surface thereof is formed in a circular arc shape is mounted on the portion of the post 20 supporting the yoke 113a (113b), and a roughly rectangular recessed part 60 in which the engagement member 50 is inserted is formed in the yoke 113a (113b). Since the inner surface of the recessed part 60 is brought into contact with the circular arc-shaped outer peripheral surface of the engagement member 50, the yoke 113a (113b) is swingably engaged with the post 20.
