PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair cleanser composition having such conditioning effects as to be capable of ameliorating hair conditions even if using no conditioner or the like separately. SOLUTION: The hair cleanser composition is obtained by including (a) at least one anionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate salt, alkyl sulfate salt, alkylbenzenesulfonate salt andα-olefinsulfonate salt, (b) at least one water-soluble polymer selected from the group consisting of carrageenan, alginic acid, alginate salt and fucoidan, (c) a nonionic surfactant and/or an amphoteric surfactant and (d) a silicone compound, and adjusting to pH 3.0-6.0 at 25°C.
