<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fuel cell capable of obtaining electric power using water as a material with normally obtained water, without requiring hydrogen gas supplied from the outside as a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell performs power generation action by supplying electrons to a fuel electrode and sending them to an external circuit and sending cations which have lost electrons to a positive electrode through an internal material (containing electrolyte) and by combining the electrons from the external circuit and the cations from the internal material at the positive electrode. Water is filled in the fuel cell and NADPH in which hydrogen is added by a reaction of a content body of coenzyme NADP (nicotinamide-adenin-dinucleotide phosphoric acid) arranged in the water and hydrogen is obtained, and electrons are separated from NADPH by a catalyst action of the electrode having platinum as a main body of the fuel electrode, and the electrons are supplied to the fuel electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
