<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a catalyst for producing a carboxylic acid ester having a sufficient activity and lifetime, a catalyst produced by the production method and a production method of a carboxylic acid ester using the catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the production method of a catalyst for producing a carboxylic acid ester supporting a metal compound on a carrier by mixing the metal compound, water of 1 to 40 times by mole the equivalent of a metal in the metal compound, the carrier, and a solvent, the catalyst produced by the production method and the production method of a carboxylic acid ester using the catalyst. Use of the catalyst of the present invention, facilitates catalyst separation upon the production of a carboxylic acid ester, enables to simplify the process, and eliminate the catalyst from being mixed in a product, thereby enabling to improve product quality and reduce waste products. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
