PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain treating device for an air conditioner, and the air conditioner capable of reducing an amount of make-up water supplied from an air conditioner exterior to a spray water supply controller. SOLUTION: A heat pump circuit is composed of a compressor 201, an expansion valve 202, an evaporator 203, and an evaporating type condenser 204. The spray water supply controller 205 is composed of a spray water tank 205a, a spray water pipe 205b, a spray water nozzle 205c, a feed valve 205e, and an overflow pipe 205f. The air conditioner 200 has the drain treating device 208 provided with a pan part 208a receiving dew water released from treated air dehumidified in the evaporator 203, a trap part 208b accumulating the dew water received by the pan part 208a and supplying the dew water as make-up water of the spray water supply controller 205, and a drain pipe part 208c discharging dew water having overflowed a specific water level of the pan part 208a to the air conditioner 200 exterior.
