PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide seat air conditioner capable of obtaining air conditioning feeling having no discomfort feeling even in intermediary seasons such as spring or autumn. SOLUTION: The air conditioner calculates a target seat surface temperature index IST based on a target blowout temperature TAO determining an air conditioning control state in a cabin where the seats are disposed. Respective output characteristics of an electric heating element cooling down the seat surface and a seat blower blowing in cooling air are set as PL and FN, respectively, and output characteristics of a seat heater heating the seat surface are set as SH with respect to the IST. In a second area (corresponding to spring and autumn) when the IST is the intermediate value, the operation of a seat cooling means and a seat heating means are stopped to increase a cooling capacity or a heating capacity in accordance with the decrease or increase of the IST compared to the value.
