<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an alloy powder to be used for a buildup material or the like to improve the wear resistance of automobile parts or the like by controlling the average particle size and fluidity to specified ranges. SOLUTION: The copper alloy power has 30 to 150μm average particle size and <=15 sec/50 g fluidity by the test method according to JISZ2502. The copper alloy powder is obtd. by preparing an alloy powder from a molten copper alloy by gas atomizing method, milling the powder and then classifying. To decrease satellites from the alloy powder produced by gas atomizing method as much as possible, a treating device having an excellent milling effect which does not damage the shape of the powder is used. As for the device, a pan mill or roller mill is preferably used. By connecting the production process of the copper alloy powder with a supply process to supply the powder and a laser processing process using the powder for continuous forming, an efficient laser buildup process can be carried out.</p> |
