A boring tool is provided to simplify structure of the boring tool and reduce a working space for the boring tool. A boring tool includes a tool main body(2), and a rotary setting member(42). A tool carrier(10) is adjustably installed at the tool main body. The rotary setting member translates the tool carrier in a radial direction by using a drive mechanism in order to set a boring diameter. The drive mechanism converts rotation of the setting member into translation of the tool carrier. The drive mechanism has a differential spindle for converting rotation of the setting member into translation of the tool carrier to finely set the boring diameter. |
