An LCD is provided to improve the visibility and prevent the flicker and crosstalk, by dividing a pixel into a pair of sub-pixels and applying different data voltages having the same polarity to the pair of sub-pixels. A plurality of pixels(PX) are arranged in a matrix type, wherein each of the pixels has a first sub-pixel(PXa) and a second sub-pixel(PXb). A gate line(GL) is connected to the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel of each pixel. A first data line(DLa) and a second data line(DLb) cross the gate line, and are connected to the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel, respectively. A data driver applies a first data voltage and a second data voltage respectively to the first and second sub-pixels. The first data voltage and the second data voltage have the same polarity.
