A fixing device for a door operated vertically and horizontally is provided to improve convenience on use and durability by solving the inconvenience of stooping down, protecting children from getting injured and preventing a horseshoe body from being broken or bent by operating horizontally and vertically. A fixing device for a door operated vertically and horizontally contains: an outer case(10) provided with a crossed horseshoe body guide way(11) to make a horseshoe body move vertically and horizontally and a horseshoe body stopping groove(12) to fix a horseshoe body, and attached with ears having screw holes(13) to be fixed on a door(40); and a horseshoe body(20) connected with a head(21) and supported to the bottom via the guide way of the outer case(10) and attached with a skid-proof rubber(30).
