A sliding door opening/closing driving device of a vehicle using an opening/closing wire and a motor is provided to automatically open/close a sliding door by the driving force of the motor, to simplify the structure and quickly open/close the door, and to secure mechanical stability. A sliding door opening/closing driving device of a vehicle comprises a sliding door opening/closing driving unit(10) including a box-type case(110) combined with a vehicle body and formed with a mounting space inside, a motor(115) fixed at the mounting space of the case, a worm wheel(120) combined with a shaft of the motor, a worm(125) combined with the worm wheel, a primary wheel(130) combined with a shaft of the worm, a drum(135) installed at the mounting space of the case and formed with a continuous opening/closing wire insertion groove on the outer cylindrical surface and a combining groove on one side, a secondary wheel(140) formed with a combining protrusion inserted into the combining groove of the drum, a cover giving a space to move the shaft of the secondary wheel along the shaft to a predetermined distance and surrounding the shaft of the secondary wheel from the outside of the case, an automatic/manual switch wire(150) penetrated through the cover and combined with the shaft of the secondary wheel on one end, a power transmitting means(155) transferring power by connecting the primary and secondary wheels, a spring inserted between the other side of the secondary wheel and the wall of the case to push the secondary wheel toward the drum so as to maintain combination between the combining groove and the combining protrusion, an opening/closing wire(165) combined with the secondary wheel to be unwound on one side from the insertion groove by rotation of the drum and to be wound on the other side around the insertion groove of the drum to be combined with the sliding door at the middle portion, and a driving blocking unit(170) sensing finish in opening/closing the sliding door and stopping drive of the motor; a selection switch unit(20) choosing opening/closing of the sliding door by selectively operating the sliding door opening/closing driving unit; an automatic/manual selecting means(30) combined with the other end of the automatic/manual switch wire to separate the drum from the secondary wheel by pulling the automatic/manual switch wire or to combine the drum with the secondary wheel by releasing the wire; and a driving control unit(40) connected with the motor and the driving blocking unit, the selection switch unit, and a power supply unit(50) to receive electric power so as to drive the motor according to signals from the driving blocking unit and the selection switch unit.
