A method for patterning the surface of a plate by using mineral materials is provided to express three-dimensional patterns, designs and/or characters on the surface of the plate and to improve durability and aesthetical effect by forming a coating agent layer containing mineral materials on surface of the plate and representing the patterns, designs and/or characters in the coating agent layer. The method comprises the steps of: preparing a panel for processing; applying a coating agent which comprises mineral materials to the panel in thickness of 2 to 5mm; forming various patterns or characters in the coating agent before hardening the coating agent; stain coloring the panel after drying for 30 minutes at room temperature under shade; sanding the dried panel 1 hour after stain coloring step; blending various colors after the sanding step, then, putting in the combined color to the panel; and applying a polishing agent to the panel for 30 minutes after completion of the coloring. |
