PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter, which can be easily installed in a limited narrow space and exerts high filtering efficiency. SOLUTION: A filter 1' for capturing dust in air comprises non-woven fabric, woven fabric, or reticular sheet material formed in a cone shape having an opening and has a lip 6 at a holding part 4, which is in limited contact with a site where the filter 1' is installed because of its three-dimensional conical form, requires a small installation area, has a large filtration surface area compared with those of conventional filters, can be expected to improve filtering efficiency, can be easily installed in a limited narrow space such as a pipe part 7.
