<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail with a small radius of rotation, capable of being easily taken out/stored while requiring only a small storage space. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail 3 is rotatable from a storage position where the handrail is stored in a cabinet 2 disposed in the rear of a toilet bowl 1 to a use position where the handrail projects forward horizontally on a side of the toilet bowl 1. The handrail 3 is rotatably connected to a support member fixed inside the cabinet via a rotation mechanism, and comprises a handrail base part 4 horizontally retained at the use position via a stopper mechanism and an armrest part (a handrail distal end) 5 connected to the handrail base part 4 in such a way as can be extended. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
