PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching amplifier capable of attaining improvement in performance without changing a sampling frequency of a delta-sigma modulation circuit. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a switching amplifier which comprises a delta-sigma modulation circuit 3 for performing delta-sigma modulation on an input signal S<SB>IN</SB>and outputting a one-bit signal S<SB>Q</SB>, a delay circuit 11 for delaying the one-bit signal S<SB>Q</SB>and a pulse amplifier 6 including a switching element for pulse-amplifying a signal output from the delay circuit 11 by switching said switching element in accordance with the signal outputted from the delay circuit 11, wherein a delay time of the delay circuit 11 is varied.
