PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new animation extraction algorithm for extracting an atypical scene such as the home run scene of a baseball with a sufficient reproduction rate and relevance factor. SOLUTION: When a typical continuous preceding scene is present prior to an atypical specific scene, an already known extraction method is applied to continuously extract a video frame similar to a preceding scene from a video population, and to acquire a final frame number. When the frame of the video mother group to be extracted from the video population is within a preliminarily statistically obtained presence range at the back part of the final frame of the preceding scene, and the value of the distance of Mahalanobis to be obtained from the video of the subject frame is within the upper and lower limits of a preliminarily calculated threshold, it is decided that the subject frame is similar to the specific scene. Also, whether or not the mean value of the sound pressure signals of the subject frame is within the range of the upper and lower limits of a sound signal accompanying the specific scene can be decided together.
