PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method capable of improving the efficiency of observation by a user, an image processor and a program.

SOLUTION: The image processing method of this invention comprises: an image input step of inputting an image imaged by medical equipment provided with an imaging function; an area division step of dividing the image into a plurality of areas; a feature amount calculation step of calculating a feature amount from each of the plurality of areas; and an area classification step of classifying each of the plurality of areas on the basis of the feature amount. In the area classification step, classification is performed on the basis of whether or not each of the plurality of areas is an area where a biological mucous surface is imaged.
