<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate complete correspondence of an observed emission spectrum to various fluorescent pigments or various bases, in electrophoretic analysis having a plurality of electrophoretic passages. <P>SOLUTION: The plurality of electrophoretic passages are irradiated with excitation light, and fluorescence from the electrophoretic passages is subjected to wavelength dispersion in the approximately vertical direction to the electrophoresis direction, and the emission spectrum is detected. Since an apparent change with time of the emission spectrum to be detected does not occur, the observed emission spectrum can be corresponded easily and completely to various fluorescent pigments or various bases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
