PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent visibility of a first image from being damaged as far as possible and to also prevent trouble of omitting a second image when a first image and the second image are overlapped. SOLUTION: When it is determined in S11 that pixels of a latent image are not in a transmissible color, a mixing ratio is computed from saturation of a document image (S14) and according to the mixing ratio, the document image and the latent image are mixed.
