PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of obtaining an electronic watermark apparatus which secures not less than a fixed level of information embedding precision and an amount, while suppressing the deterioration of quality in the original of a document image to the minimum. SOLUTION: The document image 100 is inputted to an image input part 101. A document analyzing part 102 extracts the character image of the inputted document image 100.
