PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for inserting the predetermined quantity of pieces of thin plates enough, in which determination whether or not the right quantity of the thin plates is stored has resulted in failure caused by variation in cut dimension or variation in adhesive amount in bonded parts of laminated structure. SOLUTION: The packaging device stacks laminated plates of the thin plates 1 or single plates so that right, left, upper, lower faces of the plates are overlapped with each other. By utilizing a partial characteristic in shape, an image of the partial shape of the thin plate is stably taken to measure the quantity of the plates and thereby to significantly improve reliability in measuring the quantity of the plates.
