PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding wire feed mechanism in an arc welding robot capable of enhancing feeding consistency and durability of a welding wire, and achieving the high welding quality. SOLUTION: The welding wire feed mechanism has a wrist working part to attach and turn a welding torch, a tilting part to tilt a wrist on the tip of an upper arm, and a turning working part to turn the upper arm around the longitudinal axis of the arm. A welding wire feeder is attached to the base end of the upper arm, a torch cable is arranged toward the welding torch, and a conductive power supply mechanism is connected to the base end of the torch cable. When the turn working part and/or the wrist working part are turned, the torch cable is turned, and the welding wire fed out of the wire feeder is passed through a power supply mechanism, and inserted into the torch cable.
