PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can economically manufacture a ring having excellent dimensional accuracy from an Mn-Cu alloy material. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the ring from the Mn-Cu alloy material, the Mn-Cu alloy material is processed by cold forging, comprising swaging, forming, and punching so as to get a ring material, and then the ring material is processed by cold rolling to obtain the ring having a required size.
