PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly enhance a cleaning ability of an air cleaner by certainly enhancing a sealing property of a filter retaining member and a body 1. SOLUTION: A filter 7 comprising a dust-collection filter 7a and a deodorization filter 7b is stored in the body 1. The dust-collection filter 7a is retained by a filter frame material 10 as the filter retaining member. The filter frame material 10 has a projection part 10a projected to one side in a thickness direction than the dust-collection filter 7a. Further, a groove part 9 fitted with the projection part 10a in the state that the whole surface is abutted is formed in the body 1. According to this constitution, since the whole surface of the projection part 10a is abutted on an inner surface of the groove part 9 in the state that the projection part 10a of the filter frame material 10 is fitted to the groove part 9, a gap is not formed between the projection part 10a and the groove part 9 and the sealing property of the filter frame material 10 and the body 1 is certainly enhanced.
