The motor vehicle module has a supporting plate (10) for holding functional units, especially for a motor vehicle door, a groove (30) and a sealing bead (20) inserted into the groove for sealing a dry space against a wet space, whereby the sealing bead is fixed in the groove by a shaped groove edge.
