PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of an amount of data sent from an information center to an on-vehicle device when updating data. SOLUTION: The maximum quantity of POI data to be sent to an on-vehicle apparatus 10 is specified in an information center side 20 and information of POI data less than the specified quantity of data is listed and sent to the on-vehicle apparatus 10. In an on-vehicle apparatus 10 side, data different between POI data stored in a POI database 1 and POI data stored in a POI database 2 of the information center 20 are extracted, a transmission request is sent to the information center 20, and the POI data stored in the POI database 1 are updated by using the POI data transmitted from the information center 20.
