PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley for a transmission belt for preventing the transmission belt 3 from undulating. SOLUTION: A cylindrical pulley body 5 is rotatably supported by a tubular shaft member 7, in which a supporting rod 8 is inserted and they are jointed by a pin 9 so as to be swingable. The pin 9 is tilted forwardly in the direction of rotation of the pulley 5 with respect to the direction of the axial-load. Thus, if the transmission belt 3 is driven aside, the pulley 5 is tilted in the direction of the axial load L to generate undulation, and is rotatably displaced aslant with respect to the transmission belt 3 so as to generate restoring force in the transmission belt 3. When the axis (axis C2) of the pin 9 is set aside from the rotation center-axis C1 of the puley body 5 in the direction of the axial load L, the rotation moment generated around the axis C2 is effectively increased by positional deviation of the axial load L, when the transmission belt 3 is driven aside.
