The invention relates to a device (1) for adjusting the camshaft of an internal combustion engine, comprising an inner rotor (3) which is connected in a torsion-proof manner to a camshaft (2) and is rotatably adjustable relative to an outer rotor (4) that is drivingly connected to a crankshaft. At least one hydraulic chamber (7) which is delimited by sidewalls (5, 6) and into which a blade (9) located in a groove (8) of the inner rotor (3) extends is inserted into the outer rotor (4), said blade (9) subdividing the hydraulic chamber (7) into two sectional chambers (10, 11). A spring element (13) which presses the blade (9) radially outward is disposed between the bottom (12) of the groove (8) and the blade (9). In order to reduce leakage loss of the camshaft adjuster, the spring element (13) is provided with at least two sealing edges or sealing areas (14, 15) which sealingly rest against the radially inward face (16) of the blade (9) and the bottom (12) of the groove and prevent hydraulic fluid from flowing from one lateral face (17) of the blade (9) to the other lateral face (18) of the blade (9) via the bottom (12) of the groove. |
