<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip and a weather strip mounting method using the clip capable of mounting the base part of a weather strip on a flange formed on the body of an automobile through a simple procedure while the weather strip is embodied in a lightweight construction. <P>SOLUTION: The clip 30 to mount the base part of the weather strip 20 on the flange F formed on the body of the automobile is equipped with a stationary piece 31 attached to an exposed end part of a resin insert 24 embedded in the base part 22 of the weather strip 20 and a pressing piece 32 attached to the stationary piece 31 rotatably, with its rotation, generating a resilient contact by approaching to one side face of the flange F, and pinching the flange F in cooperation with the mounting surface of the base part 22 attached to the other side face of the flange F. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
