PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun shade device for a vehicle capable of storing a shade in a small size. SOLUTION: The sun shade device 1 is constituted such that it is provided with the shade 3 windable around a winding shaft 2; a shade support member 4 mounted to the shade 3 in parallel to the winding shaft 2; and a pair of guide rails 5 arranged at both sides of the shade 3, fitted to both ends of the shade support member 4 and slidably supporting the shade support member 4. Further, the shade support member 4 deflected by upwardly inclining a direction in which the guide rail 5 supports the shade support member 4 at a portion where the shade 3 is drawn out to upwardly curve the shade support member 4. Further, the shade support member 4 is made straight by making a direction in which the guide rail 5 supports the shade support member 4 opposed to each other at a portion adjacent to the winding shaft 2.
