PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire electric discharge machining method for making a thin laminated cylindrical body of a laminated block body of laminating and bonding an extremely thin plate, without separating a laminated plate of the thin laminated cylindrical body, without reducing adhesive strength of an adhesive of adhering the laminated plate, even if discharge heat is generated in electric discharge machining. SOLUTION: In this wire electric discharge machining method, the laminated block body is provided with a cylindrical hole by forming the laminated block body with the cylindrical hole by arranging the cylindrical hole forming the inside of the thin laminated cylindrical body 3' by electric discharge machining; and a thick laminated cylindrical body is installed in a rotary device having a rotary shaft in the right-angled direction to the traveling direction of a wire electrode by making the thick laminated cylindrical body having the thickness thicker than the thickness of the thin laminated cylindrical body in advance of the laminated block body with the cylindrical hole by wire discharge; and the thin laminated cylindrical body is made by sending out the thick laminated cylindrical body in the shaft direction of the rotary shaft while rotating in the moving direction of the wire electrode by allowing the wire electrode to abut on the thick laminated cylindrical body.
