EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine capable of increasing the estimated accuracy of the temperature of a catalyst device.

SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device calculates the estimated value of the catalyst floor temperature of a catalyst carrying type PM filter 73 by combining a first estimated catalyst floor temperature calculated based on the measured value of a first exhaust gas temperature sensor 91 with a second estimated catalyst floor temperature calculated based on the measured value of a second exhaust gas temperature sensor 92. Furthermore, the degree of the reflection the first estimated catalyst floor temperature on the estimated value of the catalyst floor temperature and the degree of the reflection of the second estimated catalyst floor temperature on the estimated value of the catalyst floor temperature are set according to an exhaust gas flow.
