PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncturing probe which can determine the position of a puncturing needle through inspection by enabling the short-range confirmation of the puncturing needle. SOLUTION: The probe has an ultrasonic wave vibrator train 10 comprising the first and second ultrasonic wave vibrators 61 and 62 in which an adapter insertion/release groove 101 for puncturing, used to mount an adapter 2 for puncturing for holding the puncturing needle 3, is disposed on the side along the direction of slicing, a packing material 9 and an acoustic lens 5. An inclined part 52 is so formed in the acoustic lens 5 to incline the direction of focusing ultrasonic waves generated from the second ultrasonic vibrator 62 to the side of the adapter insertion/release groove 101 from the direction of focusing the ultrasonic waves generated from a plurality of first ultrasonic wave vibrators 61.
