PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier capable of transferring an article, preventing the article from being protruded from the opposite side to the carrier, from interfering with four masts and from being protruded from the width of a shelf and a predetermined range of a station. SOLUTION: On a platform of a stacker crane, a slider, turn table, and slide fork are loaded in this order. When the article is transferred to the shelf, the turn table is rotated from the state that the center of the article is shifted from the center of the turn table to the running direction. Then, the rotation is continued while the turn table is moved to the running direction by the slider, and the turn table is further rotated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
